Wooster- Larry A. “Junior” Jackson, 40, of Wooster, and formerly of the North Lawrence area, entered eternal rest on Wednesday evening, February 6, 2013, at the emergency department at Wooster Community Hospital.
Junior was born May 24, 1972, in Orrville the son of Larry L. and Hazel (Ott) Jackson and was a 1990 graduate of Orrville High School. He was united in marriage to Laura N. Hostetler on August 21, 2005. She survives. He was a Daily Record rural newspaper deliveryman in southern Wayne County and parts of Holmes County. He was a member of the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, North Lawrence. He had enjoyed spending time with his family, camping and four-wheeling.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Laura (Hostetler) Jackson, are his children, Carrie G. Jackson and Andrew I. Jackson, both of the home; parents, Larry and Hazel Jackson of North Lawrence; three brothers, Dean (Tammy) Jackson of North Lawrence, Vernon Jackson of Grove City, OH, and Marvin (Jennifer) Jackson of Minerva; sister, Wanda (Richard) Powers of Orrville; mother-in-law, Lizzie Ann Hostetler of Wooster, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the Chapel of the Cross United Methodist Church, 14411 Orrville St. S.W.; North Lawrence, OH 44666, on Monday, February 11, 2013, at 11:00 am with Rev. Ignatius David officiating. Burial will take place at East Union Cemetery in Wayne County.
