Margaret (Landkrohn) Makal, 93, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Carriage Inn Nursing Home in Cadiz. She was born on June 1, 1919 in Homestead, Pa. to the late Mary and Andrew Erleba.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband John Landkrohn, second husband August Makal, brother Geza Erleba and her sisters Viola Webster and Lillian Hoard.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 25, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 26, 2013 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary at 10 a.m. Everyone is asked to please meet at church. The burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a Hospice of your choice.

Margaret Evelyn Walker, 92, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at Autumn Healthcare of Adena. She was born in Mt. Pleasant, Ohio on Jan. 29, 1921, grew up in Adena, and was graduated from Adena High School in 1939.
In addition to her parents Margaret, or Peg, as she was known by friends and family, was preceded in death by her sister Mary E. Walker and her brother Robert W. Walker.
Friends and relatives will be received at the Borkoski Funeral Home in Adena on Saturday, April 20 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., also from 1 p.m. until the funeral service on Sunday, April 21 at 2 p.m. at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Harrisville, with interment at the Hicksite Cemetery in Emerson. There will be a light luncheon at the church following the interment.
